In 2021, we become part of creative and cultural movements where talented people dare to play with the limits of society. We believe that the boundaries of society are not fixed. So, in recognition of today’s seismic cultural shift, we join the wave of change in support of those with the courage to stand out from the crowd.
MEET BADGYAL CASSIE
PROFESSIONAL DANCER & CHOREOGRAPHER
Having arrived in France from Central Africa at the age of 7, Cassie is driven by her love of African dance; its culture, its movement and the stories it has to tell. Although her greatest inspiration growing up was her mother, she feels she lacked female role models who had the confidence, determination andresilience to break free from the expectations society places on girls.
Today, she uses dance as a mean to teach young girls to discover their own determination, to embrace the challenge – and to change the world for themselves.
