A WOMEN-LED
GARDEN
In the Ourika Community Gardens, local women from the Ourika Valley cultivate, harvest, and dry the botanicals used in YSL Beauty products with unique craftsmanship. YSL Beauty supports this women's cooperative in collaboration with its non-profit partners, Agrisud International and Fondation Norsys, through year-round guidance in cooperative management. In 2025, this included more than 140 hours of training and guidance covering, notably, financial literacy, management, ingredient cultivation, and drying techniques.
for BIODIVERSITY TO THRIVE
Conceived by two garden designers, Ossart and Maurières, the vast main garden with its four open walls and square fountain, follows ancestral techniques specific to the region.
Water flows naturally from the Atlas Mountains down to the parcels. The drystone terraces are home for lemon trees alongside irises, saffron, marigold, cacti, and jasmine.
Further away, zinnias or colorful birds of paradise pay tribute to Mr Saint Laurent’s love of gardens.
